At Now in Colour, we offer Therapy for Modern Life.

    What does this mean?

For most of us, modern life means that we are juggling many demands on our time, from how we earn our money, to our caregiving responsibilities, and then looking after our own wellbeing, plus trying to have some fun along the way. These responsibilities and the limited time we have to devote to each one, can precipitate feelings of stress, leading to overwhelm. These are feelings that can detract from your therapy experience.

At Now in Colour, we recognize the demands of living a modern life and have developed our service offerings to be accessible and achievable for our clients – people who live with this broad range of responsibilities.

Telehealth allows us to provide our specialized psychological therapy via secure-encrypted video or telephone sessions. We can meet with you anywhere, within the Province of Alberta, where you have a computer, or smartphone, or tablet, and a reliable internet or land-line telephone connection.

Therapy delivered by telehealth can be just as effective as traditional in-person therapy, but may be more accessible to some people. Especially, if getting to an in-person appointment is not convenient, or you simply don’t want to meet in-person.

To ensure a high level of service delivery, our practice adheres to The Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA); the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA); and the College of Alberta Psychologists’ Standards of Practice (Provision of Services Through Distance Technology).

We take the risk of privacy breach seriously. As such, we are selective about the technology and third party providers we engage to provide our services.

Our telehealth solution allows you to schedule an appointment via telephone or email and have your entire therapy experience take place digitally. While you don’t need a video camera, we do recommend you use one (or turn on your device’s camera).
